More often than not, these models are able to block all sorts of signals including Cellular, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and Radio Communication.

　　Features - The cheaper models come with only the most essential features. They have the capability of blocking a single type of communication for around an hour of running time (due to battery life), but that is all. The moderately priced models are much more functional. They give the user more power by offering the choice of the type and frequency of the signal to interfere with. Moreover, battery life and the range are more superior to the smaller ones. They can last around 2-4 hours and cover about 40-80 meters of free space.

　　Size – Portable jammers can be, surprisingly, as small as a cell phone. However, they require batteries, may work for just a short amount of time, and only cover small areas. If you want to cover larger areas, have the liberty to block signals of your choice, or jam for a longer time- you should go for one of the desktop models. These models may be bulkier, but they enable you to cover areas as large as a building and to jam specific signals rather than just blocking every signal in the area.
